1. Do you have any dog-show superstitions?
No, except get to the show on time … hurry up!
2. TV-show guilty pleasure?
“Young Sheldon.”
3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?
Run and hide … Very tough job. Everybody thinks they can do better, lots of decisions.
4. Most valued material possession?
My Ohio State stadium, my Ohio State golf cart and my Ohio State smart car.
5. What is something no one would guess about you?
That I’m shy, and I’m not a grump as I appear in my show photos.
6. Who would you compare yourself to?
Some have said my dear friend and mentor, Bob Stein.
7. What are you “famous” for?
My loyalty to Ohio State.
8. What website do you visit most often?
AKC.org.
9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?
None I recall about show wins — I’ve had many — but getting to judge my Old English Sheepdog specialty and the group at the AKC show stand out for me.
10. What do you wish someone would ask you?
“Are you as funny and crazy as some say?” Tired of hearing, “Is that a wig?”
