Astrological sign: Taurus
1. Do you have any dog-show superstitions?
If I had a big win under a judge with a particular dog, I did not show that dog to that judge again. IMO, a potential loss would taint the first big win.
2. TV-show guilty pleasure?
Anything on Netflix. Currently watching "White Collar" for the second time — love that Matt Bomer!
3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?
Extend my gratitude to each and every AKC employee for the work they do, which allows us all to pursue our passion.
4. Most valued material possession?
Our home and property, also my orchids and hostas.
5. What is something no one would guess about you?
We breed and occasionally show our Exotic Shorthair cats.
6. Who would you compare yourself to?
Really nobody. I do believe our individuality is truly a blessing and a gift.
7. What are you “famous” for?
I don't believe I'm famous for anything, nor would I enjoy it. I am introverted by nature and have to work at being otherwise.
8. What website do you visit most often?
9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?
My first show dog from my first litter won the Terrier Group from the classes, defeating the number-one dog all-breed. In fact, she was the only dog that ever defeated him in the Terrier Group! Just an interesting memory since it happened right at the start of my involvement in the dog fancy.
10. What do you wish someone would ask you?
“Would you and Steve like to go on a year-long all-expense paid tour of the world?”
