1. Do you have any dog-show superstitions?  

Yes. I don’t throw out ribbons, no matter what placement. I also do not throw out my armband rubber bands if I win. I save them till the next day until I lose. They get thrown out at the end of each weekend.

2. TV-show guilty pleasure?

“The Incredible Dr. Pol.”

3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?  

You mean I could actually be Michael Canalizo’s boss for a day?

4. Most valued material possession?

My BMW convertible.

5. What is something no one would guess about you?

I hate walking into a crowd of people I don’t know.

6. Who would you compare yourself to?

My mom, but she is so much better than I could ever be.

7. What are you “famous” for?

Never thought about being called famous, but I would say involvement in breeding, owning and handling Afghan Hounds.

Amazon.com.

9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?

My first Best in Show win with my dad present to see it.

10. What do you wish someone would ask you?

I wish someone would ask if they could be my pet sitter so I can go to Aruba for two weeks!
