Dog News Glossy requirements
Please use the Sheet Fed Photoshop presets if you do not already have them please email Sean Gaffney (seang@harris-pub.com) and he will send them to you, for both PC or Mac.

Instructions:
Please remember to flatten all files.
Save as 300 dpi and always save as CMYK.
• The max effective resolution should be 320dpi
• Expect a dot gain of approximately 20% at the midtone dot.
• The maximum ink coverage should be 280%
For one color ads save the file as CMYK

Page size: 9.5 x 13.5
BLEED size: 10.75 x 14.75
Dog News trims at 10.5 x 14.5

•    If the image is in RGB color mode, convert it to CMYK. You will then have the proper total ink density. You can now start working on color adjustments.
•    If the image is in CMYK color mode, convert it to RGB, then convert it to CMYK again. You will then have the proper total ink density. You can now start working on color adjustments.
•    If the image needs to be in grayscale, first do one of the above, depending on if it is in RGB or CMYK. Then convert to grayscale. You will then have the proper total ink density. You can now start working on adjustments.
