9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?
A win. The day we finished my beloved Timmy, at nearly nine years old. For many reasons, he was about six when I got in a position to show again. He was a solid, old fashioned dog in a period when German Shepherds were weedy and slab sided. And he was a jerk. When he won a big Open class on the old Oklahoma circuit, his handler threatened the other handlers in Winners with sending him home with them to show if they beat him. They didn’t.
10. What do you wish someone would ask you?
I’m an open book. Ask me anything.
