No matter the event in which Bentley is being exhibited --- he is extraordinary!  Bentley achieved his open agility/obedience titles in short order, and has been exhibited as a Special consistently for the past year against some of the top Sporting dogs on the East Coast.  He finished his championship with a Best of Breed from the puppy class at a Specialty under Judge Mrs. Patricia Trotter.  As he was a young dog when he finished, he came home with me to enjoy and commence agility/obedience training.  His enthusiasm and great willingness to learn made me and my agility/obedience instructor realize that I had a very special performance dog in Bentley.  Bentley has carried this joy of learning and exhibiting as a performance dog into the conformation ring.
Bentley shows with a very happy posture and a merry tail.  His "bow" as Marcelo gets him ready to do his individual has captured amused smiles on the faces of many spectators.  His correctness as a close to "perfect" Cocker Spaniel in my eyes has been recognized by many knowledgeable judges in the Breed.

I am very blessed to have Bentley, and to be able to share this not only beautiful but also versatile dog with the Sport.  Bentley and I are looking forward to continuing our performance teamwork when he returns home.

On the cover Bentley is pictured with Judge Dr. Bernard McGivern awarding Group First and Judge Mr. Kenneth Buxton awarding Best In Show.
