Mondo’s Right on the Ball!
cover story

Can. Ch. & AKC Ch. Mondrian V.H. Lamslag of Piccadil, RE, CGC

At two years old in 2006 Mondo earned his AKC Championship and went on to win the Breed at Westminster. He spot showed in breed and on one weekend in Canada attained his Championship along with two Group First’s. Along the way he learned the equipment in Agility and the exercises in Rally and Obedience.

At three years old in 2007 Mondo began his AKC campaign. He won the Breed at the Progressive Toy Dog Club and a nice Group Third and an Award of Merit at Westminster. My knee injury in February, surgery in April and ongoing recovery to date, has slowed down his AKC campaign. Despite this, Mondo has stayed in the Number One spot in All-Breed until the most recent stats. At present he is Number Two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel All Systems.

Mondo loves the breed ring but also enjoys Rally where he has earned his Excellent title.
In late fall I hope to resume training in Agility and Mondo along with three of my other Cavaliers, Rigal, Dazzle and Boogie will be trialing.

coverAs I mentioned with Agility out I have competed extensively in Rally and put 19 titles, all ending with Excellent titles, on six of my Cavaliers, Mondo, Fredrik, Pippin, Nikkie, Rigal and Dazzle (all AKC Champions) while also continuing to train three in Obedience, Mondo, Rigal and Boogie and one in Canine Freestyle, Boogie.

Cavaliers are multi-talented and enjoy the teamwork involved in each activity. Mondo is no exception and as you can see on the cover, he is “Right on the Ball!”
