Dog sport involvement: Born into the sport. My first dog of my own was a Lakeland in 1957.

1. Do you have any dog-show superstitions? 

None.

2. TV-show guilty pleasure?  

The news.

3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?

I would give Tim Thomas the power to come up with a great committee to totally revamp the judges-approval system.

4. Most valued material possession?

My cell phone.

5. What is something no one would guess about you?

I would like to judge dogs five days a week without all of the travel in between.

6. Who would you compare yourself to?

Jimmy Mitchell.

7. What are you “famous” for?

Being extremely positive about dogs.

8. What website do you visit most often?

“Talking Dogs with Ante” on Facebook.

9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?

My first BIS in 1976 at the Lackawanna Kennel Club under Mr. Kendrick.

10. What do you wish someone would ask you?

A date or telling them why I love them.
