1. Do you have any dog-show superstitions?
I always wear the same tie tack whether showing or judging. It's a sterling-silver Whippet head by artist Cindy Conter, given to me by the Scottish Deerhound Club of America for judging their silver-anniversary national sweepstakes decades ago.
2. TV-show guilty pleasure?
Any of them that show off people's talents.
3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?
Donate my excessive salary to the AKC Canine Health Foundation.
4. Most valued material possession?
Are dogs considered material possessions?
5. What is something no one would guess about you?
That I'm much smarter than I look.
6. Who would you compare yourself to?
I wouldn't dream of insulting another person that way.
7. What are you “famous” for?
When I worked with computer systems, I was known as an "expert" in UNIX-based systems.

CNN, Facebook, Amazon.
9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?
A memorable win: my Bred-by Whippet bitch winning Winners Bitch at the 1995 AWC National. She also won an AOM that day. (Second to that, my Whippet bitch winning Reserve Winners Bitch at the 1991 AWC National at six months and one week old.)
10. What do you wish someone would ask you?
If I would like to have the power to wipe out hate and ignorance everywhere (because I really would like to have that power).
