Days Of Our Lives
3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?
Find a way to crack down on political judging. It is hurting our sport more than any other influence
4. Most valued material possession?
My wedding ring
5. What is something no one would guess about you?
Underneath the bitch many people see, I’m really a nice person and I’m really shy
6. Who would you compare yourself to?

I don’t compare myself or my accomplishments to others. I am just me.
7. What are you “famous” for?
I don’t know that I am famous, but most people see me as the owner (and unnamed breeder) of a multi Best-in-Show Akita named Ch TOBE’s Return of the Jedai, aka Ben, and a very successful Akita breeding program back in the day.
8. What are your thoughts on Social Media?
It’s fun to keep in touch with friends around the country and world. People I rarely actually see in person.
9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat?
And what was it?
Definately my most satisfying win was most memorable...... the Akita National Specialty where a competitor called the wicket on my multi Best in Show dog in the BOB ring and after measuring within the standard, Ben and I went on to WIN the Breed. I don’t think I have a “most” disappointing defeat. Every defeat was a disapointment. “Expectations are an invitation to disappointment”.... I expected to win every time I walked in the ring.
10. What do you wish someone would ask you?
To be their friend.
