Here we are at the last two weeks of the dog-show-giving year, and sadly more cancellations have been reported, as cases of the COVID-19 virus  rise across the country and new restrictions are put in place. There is always Florida, where the governor has had the state wide open for some time with no restrictions. That, of course, has raised concerns from some of those planning to attend the weeklong Orlando Cluster that starts this coming week. While it’s commendable for the kennel club to mandate mask wearing and social distancing, what good does it do when you leave the venue – no one is required to wear masks or socially distance. Also remember that in some states a two-week quarantine is required if you have visited certain states, Florida included. ...
