1. Do you have any dog-show superstitions?
No superstitions ... but I try to dress appropriately for the judge, the show conditions and to show off the dog I'm handling.
2. TV-show guilty pleasure?
I like any of the NCIS or CSI types of shows. Also sporting events like football and baseball.
3. If you were president of AKC for one day, what would you do?
I would love to see AKC publish the Gazette in magazine form again.
4. Most valued material possession?
Our home and all the mementos we've collected from our travels. Ron and I have been fortunate to have traveled to many parts of the world showing our Old English Sheepdogs.
5. What is something no one would guess about you?
I am a former swimsuit model ... for Cole of California. I was also the first female sales representative for Levi Strauss.
6. Who would you compare yourself to?
I would never compare myself to anyone.
7. What are you “famous” for?
Not famous ... I would simply want to be known as a nice person, good dog judge and true friend with good character.
8. What website do you visit most often?
Facebook and AKC judges.
9. What was more memorable, your most satisfying win or disappointing defeat? And what was it?
First, Best of Breed from the classes over an entry of 108 OES, Santa Barbara KC, judge Mr. Marvin Kicker. Second, Best in Show, Sicasud Show, Kennel Club of Peru, judge Mrs. Thelma Von Thaden.
10. What do you wish someone would ask you?
“We would like to make you an all-breed judge for AKC ... will you accept?” (YES, I ACCEPT!)
